I’m very lucky to have Leith O’Connor as my optometrist. First of all she’s a lovely person, easy going and interested as well as concerned about my eye health. Secondly she is outstanding at her job. I appreciated her thorough testing. If there’s anything to find that needs further investigation she will find it. After 40 years of wearing hard contacts, I have now had them permanently inserted. This has meant my sight is now stable enough to be adjusted with glasses. Many thanks to the team at Capital for taking me through this journey and providing me with my latest set of spectacles, which means I am now a safer driver, and I can read texts without squinting.

My elderly dad received great care from the team at CapitalEyes Karori, so I decided to use them myself and wasn’t disappointed. Leith is friendly, professional and incredibly thorough. I was so impressed with the initial examination and the time and care she took to answer questions and explain potential issues. I also appreciated the detailed follow-up notes that Leith emailed to me after the appointment.
