Always really enjoyed coming back here! The food is always consistently good. especially the bun cha Hanoi. Highly recommend!

I tried the lunch special and overall it was pretty good value. The dumplings were surprisingly delicious, and I enjoyed the miso soup and brownie was okay. Unfortunately, the BBQ chicken bao bun was disappointing (I was looking forward to that the most). The sauce was really nice, but the chicken had a strange smell and didn’t taste very fresh, so I couldn’t finish it. It was also quite busy with customers constantly waiting, and our table didn’t seem to be cleaned properly before we sat down. If I did come here again I wouldn’t get the bao buns maybe something else,

Went based on a recommendation. The waiter said the pho is just like Saigon. Specifically the spicy version was his recommendation of it being more flavourful. So I decided to give it a shot. He recommended a soft shelled crab bao too as one of the more popular items. Well the pho isn’t pho. It had round spaghetti in it. Not sure but I don’t think it was rice noodle. Pho was insipid and meat was meagre. The crab was nice but very western. So go because it is different not because it is authentic or even close. Revised to 2 stars as I was still hungry after.

Went to The Old Quarter 3 times whilst living in Wellington for about 3 months and was blown away every time. Amazing staff great location great menus and absolutely insanely delicious food no matter what you choose. I recommend it to everyone.

Lunch with workmates. Sent a pre-order and was perfectly timed. Really delicious, flavorful food, at awesome prices. I had the $19 baguette and dumplings lunch special. Crispy yet fluffy baguette, juicy chicken, the vege potstickers were crunchy and tasty. For the rest of the group, there was the chicken and mango salad, chicken wings, popcorn tofu and zucchini/corn fritters, creamy chicken curry and another lunch special with chicken dumplings. Only critique was the mini brownie that came with the lunch special. It was wet and tasted spongey, and not in a good way. Aside from that, everyone was happy with their food and I will be back.
