A hostel fostering community and adventure for travelers
Really comfortable stay and good amenities! The kitchen is well set up- free pancakes on weekend mornings and good tea and drink options all day. Rooms were clean, showers and bathrooms were really nice. Has one common space with tables and benches, kitchen area is mostly wooden booths. Laundry available $16 wash/dry which is slightly absurd. Really good location, too, nearby Cuba st and a few central bus stops.
Spent one week at the Marion in Wellington, and I would have been more than happy to stay longer. The facilities are fantastic, has 2 TV rooms with several streaming platforms, Wi-Fi is fast and kitchen has spacious storage, nice equipment and a range of seasoning and cooking utilities. They serve free pancakes on Saturdays and Sundays. Rooftop deck offers nice views of the city and surrounding mountains. The location is absolutely fantastic, as it is within walking distance from some of Wellington's best restaurants, shops and cinemas. Will definitely return next time I am in Wellington, and would highly recommend to anyone!
Honestly, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I am quite picky and don’t stay often in hostels, but was trying to make Welly in a budget and decided to stay at the Marion hostel for one night. OMG! I wish I could stay longer! Spotless cleaning, super comfy and a range of services for free! We had pancakes for breakfast and they even offer yoga classes for free for guests! How cool is that? Next time I am in Wellington I’ll stay there again for sure!
Amazing hostel! The rooms offer enough space and privacy and the hostel has a very friendly vibe. There is free WiFi, coffee, tea and on the weekends even delicious waffles or pancakes for breakfast! My friend and I also rented bikes here (which is also for free) and took them for a day trip:) The staff was very nice and we will definitely recommend this hostel to others.
Absolutely incredible, amazing location, amazing staff and just the most beautiful interior of any hostel I‘ve ever stayed at. Never felt so safe and comfortable. All of that for a fair price too. Can’t wait to come back.
