The Free Store

The Free Store is an organization in Wellington redistributing quality surplus food from local eateries to the community every day. Our team collects leftover food from nearby cafes, supermarkets, and bakeries, organizing it into meal-sized portions for distribution. We offer fresh bread, salads, and sandwiches at our Willis Street and Undercroft locations, helping to reduce food waste and insecurity.
