Hotel in Wellington
I stayed for a night in the dorm room. The staff was super frindly and help full. There do have a bar/restaurant but it is good seperated and to get to the hostel part you must use your room card which gives you a safe feeling. The hostel was also super clean and the room had modern heaters which you can set to your prefert tempreture
We stayed at the Cambridge Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and overall we had a great experience. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled due to bad weather on the day we were supposed to check out. Even though our room had already been booked by another guest, the hotel staff went out of their way to arrange everything so we could stay one more night in the same room. We were very grateful for their kindness and flexibility during such a stressful situation. The reception staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. It came with a small heater, which was enough to keep the room warm despite the cold weather. The only downside we noticed was the constant banging of doors, especially from the bathroom. I'm not sure if it's because the building is older, but we could also hear doors banging from outside our room, which was a bit noisy at times. Other than that, everything was great. The hotel's location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and other places within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again and appreciate the excellent customer service provided by the staff.
Really enjoyed my 1 night stay here, staff @the bar/pub were so kind and food was great! All the staff were so welcoming as well, rooms were nice and clean also! Heard some rumours on google that its haunted did feel abit paranormal especially going to the toilet at night but besides that had a really comfortable stay. Thanks
Stayed in a single room for one night in the off season. Fairly nice, expecially for the price. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Room comes with fridge, a TV, and some other basic kitchen appliances. The heater that was in the wall was unbearably loud when I turned it on, but a small portable heater is supplied in the room. A few of the blinds were missing from my room, and the door banged every time it opened as the damper mechanism was misplaced. The fridge also didn't work, only the litle freezer section was cold. Service was great though, and the location is handy in Wellington CBD, not too busy of an area.
Extraordinarily clean, I was so pleasantly surprised by the toilets and showers. Very well equipped and spotless. The bunks were comfortable with nice sheets. The security is fantastic. Possibility to padlock your belongings in the room in a steel trunk under the bed also the card key access to the rooms, Showers and toilets, and kitchen is fantastic. Outstanding quality for the price. Kitchen was also very well equipped. I would definitely stay there again. I felt very safe and these receptionist was very helpful.
