Love this place. Frequent diner. Loving the new menu. The arancini balls are SO good, a must-have! Dog friendly which is awesome. Atmosphere is super welcoming and warm and happy. The team is great and food is top notch. Highly recommend.
What a lovely spot for a drink on a sunny afternoon opposite the ocean. My friend enjoyed a crisp ginger beer, and I found myself happy as Larry sipping on the best lemon lime & bitters I've ever had. The very friendly service didn't hurt either! Ngā mihi nui e hoa mā 🫶
Boycott this place. Reason #1 - Another table that was seated after we had arrived was served first. Reason #2 - Waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, until the waiter came and told us that there was a "problem with the printer" when he submitted our order to the kitchen, meaning they hadn't even started cooking our food yet. Waited another 15 minutes until the food finally came, and it was average. Reason #3 - When the waiter served my eggs bene, the eggs toppled over onto the plate (see photo below) and all he said was "oops!" without even an apology! Reason #4 When we complained about the long wait times, they said the manager would put a discount through at the till. However, the discount was only 10% of the total order, and we still had to pay 15% surcharge as it was a public holiday. Overall, very disappointed with the service and never coming here ever again. Sad that I can't give 0 stars.
You’re spoiled for choice for lunch in this cute part of town, but who can resist the call of a Nashville Mushroom burger? At peak lunch service time there was only one other table occupied in this large dining room. That should have been a flag for us .. This menu item looked beautiful when it arrived. breaded oyster mushrooms, generously stacked with some fresh salad. But that’s where the amore ended. One bite was plenty for me. I suspect that the kitchen isn’t tasting their food. If they were, they would be adjusting this item. The seasoning was a 14/10 on saltiness and inedible. Couple this with the deeply unpleasant “sludge” created with a lack of draining following frying in rancid frying oil .. and you got yourself a very bad dish. The waiter asked how everything was - initially I said nothing and when he asked again I shared the above. Great news, he didn’t take care of us by offering another item or comping.. rather he would “talk” to the kitchen about the oil… and of course that was the last we saw of him. 0/10 service. Added to the list of places I won’t be recommending, and certainly won’t be returning to. Disappointing.
Major bucket list spot during our vacation for amazing vegetarian/vegan brunch! We made a reservation before coming in (glad we did- it was very busy on the weekend!) The place is absolutely beautiful! Loved the decor, plants everywhere, natural light! Their menu has tons of vegan marked items as well as vegetarian. Everything sounded amazing! The vegan biscoff pancakes were a dream! The delicious pancakes came out with such a beautiful presentation - it was picture perfect! Pancakes were warm, covered in warm sweet sauce & was to die for! Side of vegan sausage was also just yummy! Everything was high quality & you can feel the passion to craft such delicious veggie dishes in here! I was so happy we got to eat here during our trip! I wish I was local to enjoy this place every single day! It’s THAT good!!
