Saturday market in Wellington offering local vegetables, eggs, and honey
Out & About stall with Spring Rolls, samosa, Vegetable Rotti, Yammys Stall with Jewellery- Rings, Necklaces, Bracelets, Sunglasses Earrings, Cookies, Biscuits, Pickles, Sambol, Veggie & Fruit stall that's cheapest in town, Candles stall with Cemented Ornaments & soap, Recycled Garden ornaments stall, Lions stall with Eggs & Honey with Recycling of Batteries, Bottle Tops, Hearing aids etc. plenty of parking near the Tawa Shopping Mall.
Seller is a rude man. He removed the bag from my veggies at the check out and said rudely to me the bag is only for fruit not for veggies, I said politely to him “you should put a written sign there so people know” then he said if you happy you come if you not happy don’t come again. What kind of seller is this, Is that how you treat the customers.
Super heavy rain but the vege market is still here when we reached at 11am. Very impressed. Great price and wide varieties. Tawa Lions selling free range eggs and honey from Wairarapa. Also collects used glasses, batteries and coffee pods. Was told that rain or shine they'll be here.
Selection is pretty limited but reliable fruit and vege, plus good eggs and honey. The lions guys will also take your small batteries for recycling which is nice.
Good quality market produce! The Tawa Lions guys are very friendly too, I always buy my free range eggs from them. Keep up the great work guys! :)
