Alhamdulillah visited this Masjid recently for zuhur prayers (outside of the congregation time) so there was no one there. No signage outside at all (as far as we’re aware) so it was very confusing as we were visitors and do not know the area. I walked to the door and saw a very small sign that had a phone number to ask for access and I realised we were at the right place. Not sure why there isn’t a sign, perhaps security. Just thought I’d put this here for others such as myself because house of Allah should be for everyone not just the locals. The brother that answered was kind and welcoming, jazakAllahu khairan. Facilities: Separate prayer areas for men and women and bonus: separate entrances! There are also clearly labelled separate toilets for men and women just across the masjid. There are wudhu (ablution) areas that looked relatively new (and very dry and clean! Alhamdulillah). Overall this Center appears very well looked after. Alhamdulillah. Will encourage everyone to support our masjids.

Alhamdulillah this is Ahle sunnath ul Jamat Masjid in Wellington --Tawa. Here monthly Milaad Un Nabi (S.A.W) is celebrated and Khatme Qadriya as well. Darood and Salam after juma prayer. I am happy to see the respect and love towards Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) and Awliya Allah in this islamic centre. #Ya_RasolAllah #Ahle_Sunnath #Awliya_Alla

A couple of months back I wrote an issue about My mum's funeral. I would like to let every one (the public) know that the issue has been solved by the concerned committee of the Tawa Islamic Centre (Zirus Zuber, Moveen, Don and Mustapha). I am very happy with the outcome of their findings and have no further concerns. We are still going to the Tawa Islamic Centre as usual. If anyone is still carrying my previous complains and has an issue with this please contact the committee members of the center who are the best people to explain the outcome of their findings. If we are happy and have no issues with the center I don't expect the public to have any concerns or questions against the center. I sincerely thank the committee members to come forward to deal with my issues and they have dealt with the issue with great dignity.
