We had a really enjoyable lunch in this very laid back eatery. The atmosphere is slightly backpacker/student but this doesn't take away from the very friendly service and especially the excellent food. I had yo have the Jambalaya which was exactly what you would expect from a Creole restaurant excelkent mix of bell pepper onion and celery with Cajun spice and just the right level of spice plus chicken, prawns and sausage.

We stopped by Sweet Mother's Kitchen for lunch with a group of friends, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We ordered a mix of dishes, including the Jerk Chicken, Chicken in a Basket, Jambalaya, Chicken Tacos, and Fish Tacos, and every single meal was fresh, full of flavour, and generously portioned. Everyone at the table was impressed with their food. We also ordered a few coffees and hot chocolates to go with our meals, and they were fantastic. The coffees were smooth, rich, and perfectly made, while the hot chocolates were creamy, hot, and absolutely delicious. It's not often you find a place that gets both the food and the drinks spot on. The service was just as impressive, friendly, attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our visit. The staff made us feel looked after without being overbearing, which really added to the experience. If you are after great food, excellent coffee, warm hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect place to visit

They fry a mean chicken here, whether in a basket with fries or covered in waffles and syrup. Great crunch, good hit of salt, and the curly fries were also well-seasoned. Mac 'n cheese portion seemed small compared to other menu items, though it's admittedly a rich dish.

Delicious meals, restaurant was quite cold honestly. Could’ve done with some form of heating. Service was good, but waitstaff could’ve been a little more attentive

Honestly I wasn't expecting much but I'm from the us, I live overseas, and it's been many years since I've had any southern style food. I was so happy that the gumbo was flavorful and the meat was cooked well and juicy. My expectations were probably about a 2/10 but the dish was a 9/10. Very happy.
