I called the SPCA 5 times in the morning, every time the message said 'we're busy looking after the animals'. The last call was a couple of minutes before I arrived at the centre. When I arrived there was a person sitting behind reception cuddling a cat, just not answering calls. Being that fuel is so expensive it would have been nice to know , before i made the trip, that you can't view kittens before signing up for adoption. I definitely will not be adopting from this centre. I've heard other people, including pet shops/vets, have found them very rude. I would have thought that they would be keen to find good homes for cats/kittens, seems not. Surely checking to see if there is a suitable pet before wasting time filling out adoption papers is more time and cost effective for all.
