By far the best everything bagel i have had in NZ. To be fair I am incredibly picky, I like a bagel that is soft and well toasted without becoming a brick. I love having enough cream cheese that can sustain both sides. Never seen a place in NZ that can accommodate all of that. Worth the experience!
A nice cheese scone but not great coffee. The date scones looked small and hard, with brown sugar on top, why??? So gave that a miss. Also why is it so hard to get a proper cappuccino in Wellington. 1/3 coffee, 1/3 hot! Milk and 1/3 crema. So often no crema, so not a cappuccino.
Stopped by for lunch while on holidays in Wellington and I loved everything here. The decor and style of the place is so cute and warm and indie feeling. The staff were super friendly and chatty and were happy to talk about all their items. We got the cheesey mince pie and the pumpkin focaccia. Seriously some of the best pie and sandwiches we've ever had. Lots of locals coming by and I loved the walk up to it.
Great-quality pastries. Unfortunately, the products I wanted were already sold out, which is a good indicator that you need to get there early to grab some hot pastries. Worth the visit, and I’m happy to give it a five-star rating based on the quality compared with others. (A little pricey, though.)
Nice atmosphere with a funky vibe, casual seating, and a great display of food on offer. Coffee is good, and the service is efficient, friendly, and attentive while keeping things casual. We ordered coffees and scones- both were delicious and nicely presented. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality makes it worthwhile. Seating is quite limited and gets full easily.
