Truly an exceptional and memorable dining experience. We chose the deluxe 9 course set menu (mainly for the oysters) and every plate was perfect. None of the flavours were repeated on any dish. Everything was a delight visually and from the first bite to the last we were all blown away. Possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. Service was amazing too, friendly and knowledgeable, and she wiped our table at least three times during our visit to keep everything tidy for the next course. Our plates were refreshed too. The kingfisher wings were tender and succulent and I want more. Highly recommend, shocked they didn’t receive a Michelin star. I’ll definitely be back to try the other offerings. Five stars from me. Huge compliments to the skill and imagination of the chef’s. Amazing! 🤩

What a gem this place is. Been 4 times now on different occasions Perfect cosy resturant for a date night or special occasion. Our drinks were great and the food plated beautifully. Particulally fond of the kingfish crudo and potato pave Whether you do the feed me menu which is superb value or order a le carte you won't be disapointe

Our first time dining at this lovely restaurant & certainly won’t be the last. The food choices were great. Each dish was so refined in its presentation & delivered a bouquet of memorable flavours. Loved the cosy ambience. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great wine and food when I had dinner with my friend. We have visited many of the nice restaurants around Wellington over the years and our first visit to Rosella has made a great impression on us. Shout-out to Ella for being gracious on knowing when to use her wine expertise or defer to a teammate for other drinks expertise and also Freddy for being so helpful to us. I particularly loved the calming atmosphere provided by the tasteful decor. Recommended for those who want a thoughtful and tasteful night out.

So many great dining choices in Wellington we’re so glad we chose Rosella! We had found ourselves in the local ER earlier in the day and the doctor recommended Rosella. Lovely small restaurant so the noise level isn’t out of control. The servers youth initially concerned us, but they were such a polished and professional group. Great food recommendations and wine recommendations. Everything we had from the à la carte menu was delish. A memorable meal and a highlight of our visit to Wellington. We’d return regularly if only we lived here ☹️
