I was looking for a snack in the Willis Lane complex. A lot of the food stalls had meals but Romeos offered sides as well, so I bought their chips and a drink. Great tasting steak chip style and the juice was pure squeezed orange juice. I recommend this place

I got the veggie bagel and added bacon. I was surprised to see cream cheese and grated cheese on the same item but they worked so well together! Absolutely delicious! Everything tasted so fresh and yummy

The cold brew with salted vanilla cold foam was an absolute joke. It tasted like plastic and it was disgusting I had to throw the entire thing away. I went up to the counter to politely let them know that the coffee was not good and was met with a grown man rolling his eyes at me and aggressively demanding what I don’t like about it. I told him it’s not sweet and the coffee does not taste right. He rolls his eyes again, bends over and pulls out an unmarked Tupperware pitcher of the most disgusting, watered down coffee I’ve ever seen, pours himself a cup to taste it for himself and shrugs like he does not see the problem. He also pulls out an unmarked Tupperware pitcher of a mysterious white liquid which I guess is supposed to be the “cold foam”, rolls his eyes again for probably about the 3rd time and dismissively asks me if I want him to remake it - like it’s going to magically not taste disgusting if he pours the same nasty budget cut ingredients into a new cup. A refund would have been nice but it was not offered. The lettuce in the fish sandwich my friend purchased was also completely drenched in water rendering it inedible as well. It’s great that you wash your lettuce but maybe dry it out as well. Disgusting attitude from staff, nasty ingredients for the coffee, and lazy sandwich making skills. Find attached the coffee they falsely advertise vs the coffee I received as well as the puddle of water in the sandwich box from all of the water left in the well rinsed salad.

I heard about this place from one of the food YouTuber and they were absolutely right they do amazing sandwiches here. I had pastrami and omg it was devine. Highly recommended.

Since we are entering the summer sandwich season, I decided to grab a loaded sammie from Romeos for lunch - it genuinely took me 10 minutes to choose what to order as I didn’t realise they also sold salads, bagels, seafood, desserts, sides and drinks alongside their iconic sandwiches 🤯 Being one of their most iconic menu items, I grabbed the flavoursome chicken salad sammie which was loaded with their dill, chives, and American mustard mayo chicken mixture, iceberg lettuce, and pickles in between two large, thick slices of carefully toasted artisan sourdough. Just look at that cross-section 🤩WOW, was this one epic sando. The ratio of bread, to protein to veges was foolproof, and all the textures and flavours worked perfectly together. This was actually my first time ever trying pickles, and I can now confirm that they are utterly life-changing in a chicken sammie. We also grabbed the buffalo chicken sandwich which was full of juicy shredded chicken in a tangy and zesty buffalo sauce alongside shredded iceberg lettuce, Italian herbs, pickled onions, and ranch dressing all tucked into a fresh white bread baguette. Not only does it sound and look amazing, but it sure was tasty too 🤤We couldn’t believe how fresh and high-quality all the ingredients were - far beyond anything that’s been sitting in a cabinet for multiple hours. Although the sammies alone were very satisfactory, it would have been rude not to try their golden halloumi fries, signature 12-hour cold brew with cold foam, and famous iced lavender matcha. The matcha in particular was tantalising with strong, unique floral notes, and super delicious overall 😋 If you’re into the matcha craze, then I definitely recommend giving it a go. Romeos is a great CBD lunch option if you’re wanting something fresh and healthy but also indulgent and enjoyable! The staff were so friendly and our food came out really quick despite it being 1pm/lunchtime rush. Highly recommend :)
