New York deli-style pastrami, bagels, and handmade pies in Wellington
The most amazing cafe spot. The sweet pies are out of this world - we ordered the deep dish apple pie and the lime and they were both incredible. The kids cheese toastie and chips was a steal - so many chips and a huge grilled cheese! My favourite of our order though was our Ceaser Sando 👌❤️ highly recommend stopping here - staff were very friendly and service was prompt!
Came here twice in the past couple months and both times was very lovely. Staff was kind and accomodating and the food was very delicious (good portion sizes and good value for money in my opinion) Can highly recommend :D
Good cafe tucked away from the main street with a courtyard. Had the avocado toast and the strong flat white. Coffee was good, not that strong despite 3 shots. The toast didn't look like much but it was one of the best flavour creations I had on an avo toast. The caramelised walnuts, the pickles, the chilli kick..ot all just worked perfectly. Definitely a place to return to...the pies looked great too!
The pastrami, the cheesecake, and the Karma Cola wow, absolutely amazing. Easily one of the best I’ve had in New Zealand. Loved the pickles too! On top of that, the service was wonderful. Highly recommend.
I only went because I had a good welly advent deal, but it wasn't even worth it. Average coffee, but a dry lukewarm cinnamon roll. I didnt ask for it warmed, but they did anyway, then forgot to give it to me, so by the time I asked the topping was melted and it tasted strange and off. Service was indifferent and rude as usual, seems as though the kitchen, foh, and baristas dont communicate at all. I have occasionally had good scones here, but not worth the gamble, usually leave disappointed and somehow as though I have deeply inconvenienced all the staff just by being there.
