We loved everything! The friendliest service, best coffee, absolutely delicious calzone& spanakopita and ginger slice and lots more. We had a perfect picnic at Makara and the food was still hot when we got there. Thank you Penny’s
Stopped off for early morning pre-work coffee. It was suggested that I try Pennys latest creation, a "Hot Cross Yum". Apparently Penny had a dream about combining a cinnamon scroll and a Hot Cross Bun. It's a good thing Penny didnt dream about easter bunnies and hot cross buns, not sure that would of worked quite as well. Hot Cross Yum, so good.
Penny made the most delicious cake for my husband’s birthday. The coffee and the selection from the baking cabinet are also very good quality. I highly recommend Penny’s.
I was looking for delicious treats for a family morning tea when I wandered into Penny's, and had all my bakery dreams come true. Their slices are awesome, their coffee is great, and their staff are friendly and fun. I'm looking forward to stopping by for a cake fix whenever I visit Wellington.
A good quick coffee stop when you're on the go in Karori. Penny's is a Karori institution offering a generous cabinet of filled sandwiches, pies, and savoury slices. For those with a sweet tooth, a separate cabinet full of sugary delights will entice. Penny's also features a range of pre packaged heat and eat take home meals and a wall of homemade sauces and preserves. They sell good coffee too
