This store is presently displaying a full screen ad on loop that contains intensely rapid flashing lights and video cuts that encompass the entire screen. This is incredibly irresponsible along such a large number of axes that I barely know where to start. Cuba Street is the main thoroughfare of Wellington city, and people with photosensitive epilepsy do not deserve to be put in such direct danger by a glasses store.
Extremely disappointing experience. The service at OPSM was poor from start to finish. Staff seemed uninterested, unhelpful, and made no effort to guide or assist properly. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. For a place that sells premium eyewear at high prices, the level of service is simply unacceptable. There was a clear lack of professionalism and customer care. Honestly, if stores like Sunglass Hut offered prescription lenses, I would never choose OPSM again. No customer should have to pay more and receive such a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Would not recommend.
Super lovely staff at this store. They are more than willing to help you find new frames, no matter how long it takes!
Alex helped me today with my smashed frames. She was so kind and got me back out the door in five minutes. I am visiting NZ for a week, and would have been miserable without her help. Thank you!
