Hotel in Wellington with direct lift access to Lambton Quay and city views
Stayed for business. Room service was great. Ordered off kids menu and they made adult sized. Really tasty. Rooms clean. Bed comfy. Only thing if Im really picky was reception and front facade seemed tired. 4/5 due to that but everything else was perfect
Stayed overnight and one thing was noticeable, the cleanliness of the room. Quality linen, bed was comfy, and toilet/shower was well maintened. 5 star to Housekeeping team. Reception front desk staff were warm and accommodating, particularly Maya. She made sure that my stuffs were kept safe for the entire day, even I checked out already and while roaming around the city. Struck the ideal balance of friendliness and professionalism. Breakfast buffet were delicious and had good selections too. A genuinely memorable experience. Will definitely come back again when I am in Wellington.
I had a nice stay and enjoyed all the complimentary the hotel provided. However, in the end I was charged for the parking fee 45$, and I had been chasing the hotel both phone call and emails but I haven't received any feedback until I had to go back to the hotel and asked what's wrong. The manager was there but didn't seem to want to come apologise by himself. I don't feel I was treated as a platinum member, not even a member. Big regret
Easy and friendly check in. Easy access to basic gym which had nice equipment. Offered access to larger gym but I did not try this out. The basic gym had what I needed. Great access to Lambton Quay and easy 15 min walk to Te Papa and the convention centre. The room is a bit bright red accent which was a bit jarring but the room was good enough. Comfortable and clean even though it was a bit small. Unfortunately, the windows do not open. The dinner was great. I stayed four nights and ate x 2 dinner. Well worth it. Breakfast not so much. Overall. I would go back again.
Most of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient — except for the staff member who handled my check-in at around 5 p.m. on October 27. Her expression showed no smile and no sense of welcome, which felt rather uninviting. The hotel restaurant offered reasonably priced food with attentive service. The restaurant staffs were cheerful and enthusiastic, and the lighting and music level were just right, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.
