Terrific time drinking Madeira and eating beautiful food. One of the best places in Wellington. Exceptional service. Very good for gluten free.

I dont normally give a complete rating 5 out of 5 but this deserves it. Attentive, careful, knowledgeable and with tender care. The wine menu is to die for. The food devine and carefully put together. Staff as a unit well blended and an absolute pleassure to looked after by. What a Gem.

This latest experience at Noble was disappointing, whereas our previous visits had been very satisfying. We were disappointed by the welcome we received upon arrival. Due to an unexpected last-minute issue, two people from our group arrived approximately 45 minutes late. The person already at the table had informed the restaurant about the delay. Despite this, we clearly felt that our arrival was not appreciated by the manager. Nevertheless, we decided to order a main course each. The lamb was a real disappointment: the meat was dry, served lukewarm, and accompanied by an insufficient amount of sauce. On the other hand, the fish was excellent, and the beef was satisfactory. The overall atmosphere and the service left us feeling uncomfortable, and we ultimately chose to have dessert at another establishment. I have worked in the restaurant industry for more than 40 years and, honestly, this is the first time since arriving in Wellington that I have experienced this type of welcome in a restaurant of this standard. After discussing this last experience, we have decided not to return.

I personally think this is more like a wine/bar place rather than a food place, even though the food is served and charged like fine dining. Food is quite pricey, and the portions of entrees and mains are very small. The two main dishes we ordered, beef and lamb, both a bit lack of flavor. Service is great, probably the only highlight I could think of.

It’s more a wine tasting place. Good deal from First Table. Food was served like Fine dinning. Love the fish and the scallop. Pumpkin was yum too. Venison was alright as the texture was bit weird. Everything is quite pricey. I think it’s better to bring your own wine to taste there.
