Newlands Community Centre is a community center in Wellington. We opened in November 2009 with a blessing from Ngā Hau e Whā o Paparārangi, and our multi-purpose facility hosts social gatherings, meetings, and various classes. Our center offers a drop-in lounge with free internet computers and newspapers, along with facilities including a toy library, meeting rooms, a performance area, and a food bank. We also provide a basketball half-court for community use. For events and programs, our center features a performance hall that seats up to 100 people, and smaller meeting rooms accommodating 8 to 40 people. We provide kitchen amenities like a fridge, oven, microwave, and hot water.

Was here for a baby shower event, the hall was big enough to accommodate us all, but also small enough that it felt more intimate

A lovely building, an plenty car parking, went in to purchase lucky dip so as I'm in to win $15 million draw,,,but sadly to Report my ticket didn't win, but hey No Body else so Wednesday should be $17 Million. Service with a smile/ an gudluk

Very good customer service. I rang to find out about yoga classes, the guy who answered my phone was extreme helpful , courtiers and provided all information I needed. Pls pass my compliments to him for a job well done. Cheers John Khan

Very good for what it is.... unfortunately it is opposite a Public bar, that service's mostly lower socioeconomic patrons close by. The community volunteers are very helpful and welcoming. They offer a place for those that need either company or information on the local community. The students from Intermediate and College come to either shoot hoops or just hang out. Good rooms for hiring for any of your events.
