Not the biggest of the New Worlds in Wellington but all the basics are here. The bakery produces some excellent bread and pastries. The peculiarity of this location is that the store is partly located in an old brewery. The store gets fairly crowded just before school opening with pupils from a number of large girls schools buying snacks. The store also caters for office workers in the Central Businedd District.
I love the bakery at New world Thorndon. Always so good. The service in self check out should improve it.
Best super market, their pizza, bakery section is great, they have fresh samosas..
This is a nice store with huge range of products. The craft beer section is impressive. However I found the prices are not the best and the staff were really rude which was very disappointing.
Our family’s favourite supermarket and it’s one where we have to stopover whenever we’re in town. They do the best sandwiches and you can mix and match the meat, veges and dressings. Very reasonable and large portion. There are also cooked food available and their bakery is top notch with lots of birthday options available. A very large supermarket that’s stocked with nearly everything you require. 2 storey parking makes it a breeze with the covered parking below. Located conveniently when you’re off the motorway and so easy to head back out.
