Boutique hotel on Cuba Street with individually designed rooms
Quirky hotel which we loved. Easy walking distance to main streets and attractions. Parking was a bit confusing due to one way streets. Had to find a little side street to get into parking. Excellent staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Restaurant on site that did asian fusion. Breakfast available in morning, can book to room or pay up front. Bar and seating area also comfortable and handy
A well presented hotel, comfortable accommodation in the Wellington CBD which is located within close proximity to restaurants, cafes and bars. The check in process was excellent and the staff were helpful. There is an indoor pool but it is not heated. A parking garage was a bonus but costed NZ$35 daily. There is in room dining available and a restaurant and bar within the hotel. Daily buffet breakfast but at an extra charge. Overall a good experience and the daily room upkeep was excellent. Highly recommend Naumi Hotel.
The Naumi Hotel, Wellington is an excellent hotel for international visitors; stayed here for the Sleep 2026 Conference (Jun). The Conference centre seats 120 and the buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners are amazing with seafood doing the rounds atleast twice a day. Room service is prompt. The Te Aro Street outside is really cozy with walkways and diners and people mulling throughout till late evenings. Overall a superb place for formal Conferences or Business events but if you’re here for sightseeing or something a more relaxed informal hotel would work.
Flew to Wellington and stayed at Naumi Wellington. Hotel is very clean, welcoming. The furnishings are out of this world. Full of color and art. The reception area has lots of diverse snd comfortable seating options. You will definitely want to take photos, that's how good it is. Then comes the rooms. Really cute, modern and full of colour and life. We stayed in Room 657. Totally worth it, very spacious. Location is super - in the famous and bustling Cuba Street which is the go to place in Wellington.
Naumi Hotel/Studio Wellington is hands down our favourite spot to stay in Wellington. We’ve been there multiple times now and always end up going back. We’ve definitely got a bit of a crush on this place! The hotel’s look and vibe are amazing, with lots of unique touches that make it stand out. We’ve stayed both in the studios and in the hotel rooms. The hotel side is definitely a bit fancier, with larger, more spacious rooms. We’ve booked the Habitat rooms several times at a great price thanks to their newsletter promos, which is a nice bonus. The beds are absolutely next level 🤩 super spacious and incredibly comfy! The only downside for us would be the noise on the studio side, especially from the street. Coming from the country, we’re not used to it, but honestly, most people would probably be fine. Just pack a pair of earplugs and you’re sweet. On the hotel side, if you’re staying right at the top, it can get a bit noisy when it’s windy too 😅 Cuba street is the best location in Wellington with everything nearby within a short walk. Parking has never been an issue for us, which is a big plus in Wellington. We also stopped by Lola Rouge for dessert and drinks. The service there was perfect and the atmosphere was great. We’ve recommended Naumi many times already and will keep coming back without hesitation!
