National Collective of Independent Womens Refuges

National Collective of Independent Womens Refuges is a non-profit organization in Wellington. We are the largest nationwide organization in Aotearoa supporting women and children experiencing family violence through our network of 41 refuges. We provide a 24-hour crisis line, education programs, and advocacy for policy change. Our team assists with healthcare access, counselling, budgeting advice, protection orders, legal help, finding housing, funding activities for tamariki, and establishing school relationships. We also meet basic needs such as food and clothing.
