Malaysian restaurant in Wellington serving Nasi Lemak and Roti
Foods were all tasty. Nasi Lemak with Nyonya Curry was our favorite. Plain Roti was fresh and delicious. Cha Koey Teow and mee goreng were both delicious. Service was great, quick, helpful, and friendly. We are glad to try Little Penang during our visit to Wellington. If you love Malaysian cuisine, this place will not disappoint.
It was so busy but they still put out a nice hot meal fast. Only critique is probably the printed menu is very worn, but that's me struggling to find a negative. I got the roti and vege fritters.
Highly rated for a reason. Very popular restaurant with a varied menu at reasonable prices. We were there on a Friday night and had to wait for a table but was seen to as quickly as possible. We ordered the Nasi Goreng and Cha koay Teow and both dishes were delicious. The staff were working feverishly to take and serve orders and the meals did not take long to deliver. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Old time favourite in Wellington when it comes to Malaysian cuisine, even before they moved to Victoria St. The staff here are very friendly and accomodating. The food are delicious yet affordable with generous portion. They also sell Malaysian treats such as kuih lapis and kuih talam. It's a must if you are visiting Wellington, especially if you miss Malaysian food!
Best Malaysian cuisine in Wellington. Every dish was generously portioned. Suggest coming in on empty stomach. Staff well aware of halal requirements. Fried rice and Char Kuay Teow were exceptional 10/10.
