Quirky craft beer bar in a Wellington alley. Solid tap list with 2 hand pumps, which is a rare highlight. Friendly staff with options for indoor and outdoor seating. Sat outdoors which is a back alley; somewhat diminished atmosphere from a few unsavoury characters who decided to spend the afternoon loitering nearby.
This bar is somewhat hidden away on a small street just off Victoria Street. As the name suggests the bar specializes in selling a wide range of beers both on tap and bottled. The inside of the pub is fairly traditional but cozy. There is some seating outside - weather permitting. I had the fish burger and it was substantial and good.
Decent beer selection. Good service, but they could step their beer game up. Maybe next time I'm out here they will be better... One can hope
If you love a craft beer venue that is secluded but popular with a fantastic beer selection and great food… look no further. Almost thought this place was closed due to its location before looking further. We got some choice beers from the fridge and the ample crumble to share, everything was fantastic. Such a great find in Wellington from a travelling beer loving Australian… will absolutely come back!!!!
Fantastic bar with lots of interesting decorations around the bar. Good menu with excellent food and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend
