Shuchi is wonderful! Not only does she make excellent food but she is also very receptive to unique requests. I asked for a mixed macaron order - normal tasty flavours mixed with some absolutely crazy flavours. Many other bakeries turned me down, but Shuchi was enthusiastic about the challenge. She followed through and I had a great time watching my friends eat marmite and avocado and aioli macarons and question their life choices 😅 So grateful to Shuchi and Le Ciel for making Macaron Roulette a reality

Lovely breakfast here, perfect poached eggs and the cabinet food looked great. We felt the coffee was a letdown though, pretty weak and milky. My large flat white was very milky, always a risk in a new to me cafe but my wife's regular was weedy too.

My absolute new favourite cafe in the city! I’ve been needing a new go to and this is it! Food was amazing, portion sizes were great - no skimping on ingredients. Decor and vibe is very cute and fun. We also spoke to the owner about the East African inspiration, awesome to bring some of her culture to Welly and fusing it with the stuff kiwis love to eat too.

Stopped here for a quick late breakfast, and I was really impressed how good the food was. The meat pie (lamb, served with a delicious sweet chili jam) was fabulous, probably the best I have had. I look forward to visiting again before leaving Wellington!

Lovely deco and very pleasant atmosphere. I had a piece of Basque cheesecake and a big Matcha Latte. Both are exquisite. Maybe the best Matcha Latte place in Wellington. A friend had an iced Latte and a piece of pineapple and coconut cake. I had a spoonful of it. It had a real tropical flavor and was delicious. My friend said it was rather sweet and she would enjoy it more if it were less sugary. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. We will be back to try more of their delicious-looking food.
