Great walk in the heart of Wellington. Quite a diverse bush area, changing throughout the walk. Lots of small stream crossings with bridges. I went in winter after a night and part day of rain and it was very muddy throughout. Was happy I had trail running shoes. Google maps doesn't show the entirety of the trail network. I entered from Colchester Street and was mostly downhill walk. You can exit out Bushland Grove (as shown on Google) or keep going to Mark Ave via joining up to the Valley Track. What a wonderful place Your still in town but you’ve got all of this natural forest around you There’s a great variety of tracks to follow and they are all well kept and there’s definitely a gradient for all abilities Walking or biking there’s plenty of room for track shearing
