Excellent practice. The nurses are all very professional and compassionate and Dr Kirsten is simply the best and a worthy successor to the splendid Carol Shand. None better.

The quality of care you receive greatly depends on which dr is available to see you. Whenever I would call to make an appointment with my doctor, I would be told there’s a month long wait and would be asked if I could wait that long??? I always felt like I was being rushed out the door as fast as possible, even after I would regularly wait 30 + minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Lastly, the nurses here will give you inaccurate information, and are condescending when they’re speaking with you. After dealing with this low quality of care for years, I have finally moved pratices and am receiving much better care. I would highly recommend not using this practice if you have any ongoing medical issues you’re trying to manage.

This clinic works for money, and place no value on their patient's time. I was debating for a long time whether to post about my experience here but I think I should let other people know before they will make any appointments here. But I had the most disappointing experience of any GP in this medical center. In this clinic the GP is not going to give you a second more than scheduled 15 mins (seriously ?) to decide all your health problems. When I had my appointment with Dr. Hannah P, she said she can discuss only one of my health problems and if I want to talk more , I will have to book another appointment for 62$. She didn’t care about the urgency of my other problems, she said one problem and that’s it. Ok, I agreed to discuss at least one of my problems despite on the urgency of other ones but the only thing she did is just typed my words into the computer and send a non-subsidized referral to a another doctor that I could have done myself. And for this service I have to pay 62$??? Not to mention they were also running 20 minutes late. I will not return to this clinic ever again.

Such a great practice. Staff who genuinely care and will always go the extra mile for their patients be it the doctors, nurses or reception. Couldn't recommend more highly. keep up the amazing work you do kelburn Northland.
