Serving the Muslim community in Karori, Wellington with prayers and classes
Asalamulkium, I was looking through the Karori Masjid website and I saw photos of me and I am a woman so can you guys please remove the photos of the women in the website as we are Muslim and I didn’t give permission. Jazakhallah Kahir.
Great addition to have a wonderful place to pray in heart of Karrori
Bring my daughters to learn islamic at Saturday Islamic School at the Mosque. It’s a good place for Muslim children to learn more about their religion. Just come inside (the location is on the second floor) and you will have a warm welcome from the administrations.
To the person in-charge of the mosque, please remove the toys from the mosque and encourage parents to ensure their children are praying with the rest of the people. It's very noisy and distracting during Jumaah prayer. I can make my 3 year old sit and pray with me, there is no reason others can't.
This is newly establish community centre for muslim families living in Karori Wellington. There are five time prayers held daily along with monthly community dinners.
