My family and I had been living in Karori for the past 2 years and mwdical services is something I rely on. KMC is well staffed with doctors and a practice nurse, which I had an appointment for. She was very professional, giving me all the information about the vaccine I needed. The actual 'shot' taking very little time, after fetching the vaccine, no sooner was the door closed was the injection admininistered. The reception area is large, with seats and free passworded wifi. Overall, service is very good.

John Sloane offered very professional and very friendly service to get my current insoles adjusted. He was able to modify them while I waited instead of spending a lot of money on new insoles. The assessment was very thorough and the insole adjustments made a big difference. Highly recommend John to anyone with foot or posture issues, running, cycling or any other sports.

Had to take my wife to Karori medical centre for medical care today. We saw the nurse in the morning with help from reception but could not get to reach the doctor. We were given an appointment later in the afternoon so went back again but doctor couldn’t see us even past half an hour of appointment time. We had to go back as my wife wasn’t able to sit for long We received a call again in the evening and weren’t given another appointment. This time we were quickly able to see the doctor.

Horrible. One doctor told me to slow down my anxiety because I was worry about my baby of 4 months having diarrhea. They also had miss diagnosed me and give me the wrong medicine. I had change medico center and they give the right treatment for my baby .

I have been going to Karori Medical Centre for decades. Very good doctors, nurses and support staff. Other reviewers have noted that appointment times are often delayed. They are quite right. Keep in mind that as a patient you have no idea what emergencies the doctor has had to deal with earlier in the day which may have led to your appointment being delayed.
