I think this was the best massage of my life. After a 4 day rugby tournament my partner and I were looking for recovery time from sore muscles and minor injuries. Incredible experience. So much so that my partner and I scheduled another one for the next day, and can't believe how good we both feel now. Really remarkable set of massage therapists!

Excellent experience at Issan Thai Massage. From the moment my partner and I arrived, nothing felt rushed. We were warmly welcomed, offered water, shown the facilities, and given time to relax in the waiting area before our sessions. We particularly enjoyed the conversation around Thai culture and wellbeing, which added a genuine sense of warmth and authenticity to the experience and made it feel far more personal than a typical appointment. The massages themselves were exceptional. Communication throughout was clear and professional, and there was obvious care taken to maintain a clean, sanitary environment. The technique was seamless and highly intuitive, with the practitioners responding naturally to our bodies’ reactions and adjusting pressure exactly where needed. We both left feeling physically refreshed, mentally calmer, and thoroughly looked after. Easily one of the best massage experiences we’ve had in Wellington, and we’ll definitely be returning.
Better than a chiropractor! I often get chiropractic adjustments for recurrent neck and back problems, but I would 100% come to Issan Thai Massage instead every time. Not only did she massage my knots but she made my back pop in the same places my chiro would, and it was enjoyable! I chose the Thai massage with oil and it was heavenly. The space was relaxing, lovely music and scents, and she used the right amount of pressure and stretching in all the right spots. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Welly! Thank you!
I had such a wonderful experience here! Gina was absolutely fantastic, her pressure was just right, not too heavy and not too light, which is honestly hard to find. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The herbal balm they use smells lovely too, which really added to the whole experience. And they have a Royalty Card program, which is a great bonus if you plan on coming back regularly and trust me, you will!
