We had the most wonderful experience celebrating our engagement here! The venue was cosy and beautiful, the food was amazing, and the entire team looked after us so well. Communication from day one through to the event was seamless, and they were incredibly accommodating with our decorations, cupcakes, fruit platter, and all of our guests’ dietary requirements. A special shout-out to the chef and kitchen team — everything was delicious! We also loved having our photos displayed on the screen, which made the celebration feel even more personal and special. Our guests had such a great time and gave us so many lovely compliments about the venue and food. We’re so grateful to the whole team for making our engagement party such a memorable evening. Highly recommend! ❤️

There was a great atmosphere thanks to the live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup final. The food was decent, and the staff were friendly. When we arrived, there was a person at the entrance who appeared to be intoxicated, which made us hesitate for a moment. In the end, it didn't affect our experience at all: we had a great time and don't regret choosing this pub today.

Sunday roast was delicious, calamari was yum and fresh. staff were friendly. I’d skip the $22 burrata tho, super tiny ball of cheese with 2 mini pieces of bread was a let down for the price.

3 of us in for a lunch Monday 29th December. The staff were upbeat, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Squid, and a Caesar Salad Both were exceptional. The squid was cooked to perfection. Tender and delicious. The salad also perfect, eggs cooked perfectly. My companions had the pasta dish, and the wagyu steak sandwich. Both were delighted with their choices also. Prices were reasonable and the total spend included pints of craft beers and Guinness. Overall experience was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

This is a quaint little pub in the heart of Wellington. We parked down by the water front but you could find a park closer if you know the city better. We booked for lunch and the place was pretty quiet but we were served by a young lady who said if we didn't like the table we could sit anywhere. We ordered drinks and while we knew what we were going to order, perused then. It was Wellington on a plate month so it would be rude not to try the Schnitzel Von Crumb burger. Liked the Beverly Cleary reference. We asked how big the burger was and our waitress said it is a struggle to get through. Luckily they allow sharing so the girls shared there's while I gobbled down a whole one. We ordered a basket of fries to share. The burgers were delicious. Very crisp Crumb on the chicken schnitzel. Served with both a gravy and a cheesy white sauce that complimented the filling perfectly. Would happily visit again as the food was that good.
