Might be a great visit. How ever Im not sure how ethical some of their fundraising is. I turned away 1 of these guys asking for donations but went up to my clients & found 2 more up there. Client had just signed up. I asked them to scratch his pledge & explained to them my client had early onset dementia. They said they would. A month later, I have a very upset client who had recieved a call about a pledge he said he never made & that the 1st payment had declined. Way to prey on the vunerable. I contacted EPOA & said these guys vant be taken at their word to stop try to get payments. They got onto the bank about it

Had the pleasure of meeting Devon & Theo from Forest & Bird (Wellington) yesterday afternoon. Doing there thing in the pouring rain. Letting me know what type of non profit organizational work they do in clearing water ways, planting with the many more things they do. Just wanted to say your commitment showed yesterday, an thank you to them both for the knowledge they shared and I will be in touch in the near future for volunteer work with my family and to donate towards the great Mahi you both do for Aotearoa.
