Tried this spot out for brunch. The coffee flight was definitely the highlight—such a cool and unique experience trying out the different flavor profiles. The lamb Benedict was also pretty good, flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, the wrap was a bit of a letdown and not very good. It has a great industrial vibe inside, but I'd definitely stick to the coffee and the Benedict next time!
They have excellent coffee here, and apparently, their matcha is great too. Good selection of brunch food. Be warned though, they can get really busy especially on weekend mornings and you may be asked to wait for a table for quite a bit.
I ordered the lamb shoulder benedict and it was really good. The toast was topped with tender lamb, fresh veggies, and two perfectly runny poached eggs — everything together just tasted great. It’s a bit on the pricey side (around $29), but still worth trying at least once. The staff were also very friendly, and I’d definitely come back again if I get the chance.
Absolutely a must check out. Not just the coffee, the food is great! Don’t pick just a coffee, need to get one of the flights. The Flat White Flight is terrific. Lamb Benedict will not disappoint. Hits all the right spots. Service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. We were able to walk in and get seats right away and the server was super helpful on making recommendations.
The best cafe in Wellington my absolute favourite 🥹 I decided to have my birthday lunch here with the girls because I kept thinking about what I wanted to eat the most… and straight away I thought of Hangar’s avo toast. ofc it was delicious as always so flavourful, literally a work of art. And the best part? The staff surprised us with a brownie with candles and sang Happy Birthday. Like awww stop 😭 so sweet of them I didn’t expect it at all I had just booked a table for brunch yk. I forgot to ask his name, but the staff member who served us deserves 10/10 stars. I’m just so grateful they made my day so special and memorable. Thank you so much definitely visiting again soon for that avo toast hehe. Please visit this cafe you won’t be disappointed 🤍
