Filipino bread, pastries, and cuisine in Wellington
Saturday lunch. Pata was tasty, large serving and great crackle, Avocado on sour bread toast had a nice flavour and I actually enjoyed it, the Pork Sisig on a hotplate was delicious and tasty and the Tapsolog was filling and delish. Ensaymada with cheese to try something different, but fluffy & yummy. The service was great and the atmosphere lovely in this hidden gem on Crews Lane.
Such a great experience at Faithful Flavours again! I’m visiting Wellington from the States for my boyfriend’s work trip, and this is actually my second time in New Zealand, and my second time at Faithful Flavours 😊 The tapsilog was delicious and full of flavor, and the pork lumpia was perfectly crispy and SO good. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and it definitely hit the spot. What made the experience even better was the service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made us feel right at home. Great Filipino food, great people, and an all-around wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be thinking about that tapsilog and lumpia when I’m back in NJ/California! 🇵🇭❤️ Highly recommend!
honestly one of the best filo stores i've been to! 🤍 they have pretty much everything you need when you're craving a taste of home. everyone is super friendly, approachable and welcoming. you can genuinely feel how much they care about their customers. they always greet you with a smile, help you find what you need and make the whole experience feel so easy and enjoyable. the vibes are always good, the store is clean and organized and you can tell the team puts a lot of effort into keeping everything well stocked and running smoothly. if you're looking for filipino foods and amazing customer service, this is definitely the spot. will always be coming back! 🫶✨ 10/10 experience.💛🇵🇭
Spacious Filipino restaurant with a nice layout and multiple cozy seating areas, which makes it great for groups or a relaxed meal. The food and drinks were decent overall. It wasn’t quite to my personal taste, but I can see how it would appeal to many others who enjoy Filipino cuisine. I’m still giving 5 stars because there’s really nothing to complain about, and I always love supporting local businesses.
