Serving coffee and offering matcha in Wellington
Tried the matcha and it was just okay. It was quite bland, and it left a bit of an unusual aftertaste. That said, I did like how thick and creamy it was, which gave it a nice texture. Overall, not bad, but I was hoping for a more authentic matcha taste. I did like the vibe of the cafe it was quite nice and lots of seating compared to other matcha places.
It’s located in the city, so it’s easy to get to, and they serve pretty good matcha. The strawberry matcha is nice, and I’ve also tried the blueberry one before, but I think the strawberry one is still the nicer one. It’s sweet, and I don’t think they actually use real strawberries, but it still has a nice strawberry flavour. I like that it’s sweet without the matcha taste being too weak.
Best strawberry (and blueberry) matcha i have had to date yet and was recommended to try while in wellington and no regrets at all. I am from auckland and have tried so many and nothing compares now. The two girls at the front are so friendly and would def come back when i am back next time for the vibes 🔛
It was my daughter's idea to go here. She has been a matcha lover for a couple of years now and has been looking for a decent cafe that serves matcha. We have been disappointed on a couple of matcha drinks from multiple cafes. We got the Iced matcha and the blueberry matcha, they definitely did not disappoint. Solid place for a matcha drink! Good service and a nice good vibe as well.
[DRINK]: They have a good selection of coffee, tea, and matcha. I usually have flatwhite (both hot and cold) here, and they were great. They also have a good selection of kaery items. [STAFF]: All baristas were friendly, nice, and welcoming. [LOCATION]: All the decorations and seating were nice and beautiful. The vibe was cozy and chill. I love the smell of coffee here.
