Freshly baked pastries and artisan bread from a family-owned bakery
[COFFEE - CAKE]: I love Dough for their delicious and great-looking cake. They all tasted amazing. The coffee was good too. If you want to try some good cake, tart, or any bakery items, it is worth a visit. [SERVICE]: The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. They were happy to make recommendations and answer all the questions. [THE STORE]: It is small, clean, and well-organized. Their display of cake is always eye-catching.
Honestly one of the more memorable bakery experiences — and not in a good way. The Asian staff member wearing glasses managed to get my order wrong, overcharge me, and not mention it at all until I questioned it. I suppose transparency just isn’t part of the service here. When I raised the issue, instead of a proper solution, I was told there was no cash available for change and that I should simply pick another bread. Apparently, basic cash handling is optional now. Blaming it on the nearby bank relocating was… creative, but not particularly convincing. It’s a shame, because the croissant itself is actually quite good. Unfortunately, good food doesn’t really make up for service that feels careless at best and dishonest at worst. Safe to say I won’t be returning. I’ll leave this place to those who are happy to pay extra for the experience.🙃 This all happened earlier this morning — only just got around to writing this now.
A lovely little coffee nook! The staff are really friendly, the coffee is delicious, the home made marshmallows a lovely touch, and I definitely recommend going while their Welly advent calendar deal is up and running - the donut was so light and fluffy!
This café sits right in the heart of the city, always buzzing with foot traffic. Their pies fly off the shelves quickly, and the tempting pastries in the window practically call out to people passing by. For cheese scone lovers, this spot is a perfect — they serve two kinds, buttermilk and chilli, scone is my personal favourite. The staff are simply the best, making the experience warm and welcoming. Perfect place for quick pick-ups and on-the-go treats!
The food and the beautiful cakes are amazing. So delicious. Unfortunately the service isn't great which is sad because this place invites you to feel happy but every time that I walk in I'm scared of the ladies. I particular the lady with curly black hair. Omg she always has this grumpy face. Never smile at you she is so grumpy honestly. If I work there I'll ve happy to be surrounded by all those beautiful cakes, bread and sandwiches. Please owner your girls needs more customers focus training.
