Booked a lunch meal using First Table. Businesses in Island Bay still reeling from the recent flooding, so had to try them out - a GREAT decision! We ordered Loaded Beef Tallow chips with their homemade boozy cheese sauce, bacon & Jalapenos - was amazing! A tasty combination and can I just add, that cheese sauce should be bottled and sold separately. Highly recommended! We ordered the Smashing Classic and I had the DubHub Catch burgers - highly recommended. The fish was divine coated in a flavoursome batter with the right combination of slaw and sauce; an amazing bite. We had no room for dessert - so must try that next time.

We normally head to the brewery in Miramar because we love the beer and atmosphere. Came to the island bay dub hub tonight as we were headed to the cinema down the road. So first of all. If you are headed to the empire cinema, you should absolutely make time to come for a beer beforehand. This is one of NZ's best craft breweries! Secondly... we had a burger too. Which was great and very tasty. It was the chicken burger. There are two choices. Fried or grilled, we had one of each but they brought two grilled. No big deal but the manager was very apologetic and although she offered to take one back, we said it was not a problem. Yet we were still offered two more free beers. Normally people complain when something like this happens but we hope it happens again if this is the level of hospitality we receive. Thank you double vision

Very impressed with the service and food. I had the woap burger and it was very good. The staff catered for my veggie daughter offering plenty of options which was appreciated. Highly recommended.

A new venture from Double Vision Brewing. They have renovated the place and changed it round a bit, so far so good. The bathrooms got a thumbs up. There are lots of house taps and interesting beers to choose from and the drinks menu takes up quite a few pages, which bodes well. We came for lunch on a Friday and tried a few of the staples from the staples menu. The staff were super welcoming and made it easy. Everything was delicious and flavoursome. We all liked the popcorn chicken, loaded fries, and the grownups enjoyed the chicken and cranberry hot sandwich. Next time we will have to move on to the famed chicken wings and try one of the tempting burgers.
