I sent a text [...] requesting help from DCM. Penny then called me and told me that last time she was in contact with me I was "rude" to her and told her "to not come to my address again." She went on to say that the cleaner Alex, who DCM have got to come to my address a few times, complained about the way I "treat him and his staff." I find [all of] this very slanderous, and I am adamant that I have never been rude to Penny, Alex or anyone else from DCM[, and that I have never told anyone from DCM to not come to my address again]. [...] I am [currently] going through a lot of stress with moving house, and hearing this has worsened my stress. I am ill and don't need this. I believe Penny should not be working at DCM, since she initiates such slander. It makes sense to me that in order to protect myself from this, I should have nothing more to do with Penny or Alex. I would like a response from the manager regarding this. I am sending a carbon copy of this email to Alex, and I am also leaving what I have written here as a public review, as I believe this case is in the public interest.

A great place to go for help. Food bank every week and just overall wonderful. They have friendly staff and you can go there for free coffee and a bite to eat any time they are open

Make this your first stop when in Wellington the staff are awesome friendly and so helpful. There is plenty to do and some cool brothers and sisters xx

If you are ever in need of help no matter how embarrassed you are you can always find a friendly ear at DCM when you need it. You do not have to be homeless or unemployed to ask them for help. If they do not feel they can help you they have an encyclopedia of resources and most likely will be able to point you in the right direction. Essential service criminally underfunded.
