One of my favourite places to get a sweat treat!!! They have a lot of different Fresh fruit, creams and tea flavoured cakes and desserts in their cabinet… all absolutely delicious!! Recently also ordered a large birthday cake and that had the same amount of care and time put into it. Was super happy with the turn around time and presentation :) Thank you!

Loved the desserts here!! My go to dessert place as they have the most unique flavours and also looks so pretty! Not too sweet which is perfect!! Definitely will recommend this place!! Edit: their custom cakes are so beautiful and delicious! Have ordered the custom cakes twice for birthdays! You can really see the love and effort in every cake even the packaging is pretty. They just made the day even more special and it is so lovely to receive one on your birthday too!! My photos don’t do the cakes justice but they are really so special!
My husband and I were lucky enough to get a custom wedding cake from here, and it was a beautiful work of art! The process was smooth, our vision was executed perfectly, and we were so happy to support a local shop that we love so much. We always dip in to the shop even if we aren't going to get anything because it's so gorgeous and sweet in there :) Huge thank you to the Cream Cake Shop team again! Ngā mihi!
Decent cake shop here in Wellington. It is everything it says on the tin; selling fresh cream-based cakes with fruit and other flavourings, I think the fruit is their classic. The shop is difficult to catch open and stocked, I’ve tried many times at the listen opening ours (12pm-6pm Thursday - Sunday) and it was not open. However, I was lucky to see it was open on Saturday this week (yesterday) and stocked, so I took the opportunity. The service was nice, the lady who runs the place was considerate and talked us through the options, including to put them in the fridge if not eating immediately and how to not pay surcharge, which was much appreciated. The cakes are very light and full of cream, which was great. The fruit was not quite the sweetest, as would be typical for this time of year. I would expect the fruit options would be best to try during the heat of summer. Both the mango crepe and strawberry cake were lovely and a good finish to the evening meal. Overall, I recommend the cream cake studio, when you can catch them. I will be back to try their other cakes.
