I always find the team at Courtney place Lumino friendly, welcoming and caring. James the dentist and assisntant makes you feel at ease under nerve wracking dental procedures - numbing and drilling. Constant checking in to see if I'm doing okay at different times during the appointment. I would definately recommend them.
James and the team at Lumino Courtney have been looking after my teeth and I for over 10 years and are simply the nicest, most honest and hard working team ever! Having come from the awful NHS dentists of the UK; Lumino has transformed my appreciation of dentists, and I see them regularly to maintain what was not an easy job to start with, after years of poor support. James is my dentist. He’s got a wonderful way with people and always puts me at ease. His first question is always “How are you? Any health issues?”. He always makes sure to gather any information that may have a bearing on my health. James always explains each procedure to me and takes the time to answer my endless questions. If there’s any problem James will question me to try and ascertain if there has been a change in my behaviour that could be the cause. He’ll then come up remedies to try. Alaina is my usual hygienist. She’s a wonderful person and always makes me laugh. She’s full of information on how to brush and floss effectively, rather than in a haphazard fashion. She convinced me to get my son to floss, which he now does. Everyone at Lumino Courtenay has been so wonderful.
I went to Lumino Courtenay Place for Invisalign and was extremely happy with my experience. James was incredibly skilled, took the time to explain every step of the process clearly, and really listened to exactly what I wanted to achieve.lt was obvious that he genuinely cared about getting the best possible result. I'm really happy with the final result and would highly recommend James and the team at Courtenay Place Dental to anyone considering Invisalign or looking for a great dentist. Super welcoming and such friendly service from the moment you enter the door with an awesome reception team too!
I've been going to Lumino Courtenay Place since moving to Wellington 2 years ago, and have always been extremely happy with the level of service there. Claudia at the front desk is always incredibly welcoming and makes the whole admin process effortless. James is a brilliant dentist; he’s professional, reassuring, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. My hygiene appointments with Kira are equally as impressive— professional care & friendly service. Together with all the support staff, they are a top-tier team that provide excellent care from start to finish in a warm and welcoming environment. Would highly recommend!
