Medical clinic in Wellington
I was urgently looking for a GP because I was running out of medicine. I went without an appointment so I expected to be turned away, but a very kind doctor gave me a prescription that same day. I’m truly grateful. I’d like to back here again next time I return to New Zealand. Thank you very much!
I have been attending this medical centre since 2023 but still go and see the same doctor since moving 45 mins away. Dr Carl Lin is so professional highly skilled and empathetic. She takes time to listen to your health problems is compassionate and does thorough assessment and has always provided best practice and treatment for ongoing health issues. Have seen few others drs who have been great. The nurses are friendly and amazing as well.
Excellent practice with great communication with reception and empathetic, thorough care with the Doctors. I see Dr. Nguyen and he has taken a genuine interest in my health and wellbeing. He orders the testing I need and is proactive with my overall needs. Thank you again, team!
The receptionists here are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely keen to help — such a great first impression every time. Dr. Megan, my GP, is amazing. I’m always surprised by how quick, accurate, and thorough her work is. She really listens, explains things clearly, and makes you feel cared for. I also saw Dr. Carl, the women’s health doctor, and had such a great experience. She made me feel completely comfortable, talked me through everything step by step, and turned something I was preparing for the worst into a calm, non-traumatic process. Truly grateful for her care. Highly recommend this clinic!
I had a terrible experience at this clinic with Dr. Megan, and felt completely let down. I paid $120 to see Dr. Megan. During the consultation, she told me she would book an X-ray for me and that I could just go home and wait — the radiology clinic would contact me directly. I waited for a week and heard nothing. So I called to check, and found out that Dr. Megan had made a mistake on the referral form — she left out some important information, which meant my X-ray was never booked at all. I had to call the clinic, the reception said she will contact me when she's free which she never did of course🙄 After I completed the X-ray, I was told the report would be sent to Dr. Megan within 3–4 days and that she would contact me with the results. I waited another three weeks — still no call. So I called the clinic again. And their response? > “Since your results were normal, the doctor didn’t contact you.” Seriously?! Normal or not, isn’t it basic medical practice to inform your patient of their test results? This whole experience was beyond frustrating. Poor communication, careless handling, zero follow-up, and no accountability. I was left completely in the dark for over a month. I will never go back to this clinic, and I strongly urge others to avoid it — especially if you're expecting even the most basic level of medical professionalism from Dr. Megan.
