Sheila at the reception is super nice, helpful and informative. A very lovely personality to deal with. This motel has free carpark which is a huge bonus esp. for Wellington. The night view if the city is amazing. The staff are very intuitive...they come out and move the cones to reserve your designated carpark...without asking them to do it for you they go above and beyond. Something very rate to see in hotels. Support local and esp. this motel. I will most definitely stay here again... no more hotel stays in Wellington for me. The motel is placed near Cuba Street so very handy.

Booked in after my flight was cancelled. Very impressed with the place as far as great value for money. Great lady on reception. The managers were both super helpful with food recommendations. Helped me with Uber Eats as the weather was atrocious. I understand that eating places though are literally 5 minutes walk away. Have already recommended the place to friends if they need great priced accommodation

It is not often when you meet people like the hostess Sheila. I was lucky enough to get to stay at her awesome hotel and feel the love and care she has for her guests. First, she upgraded us to the penthouse without even asking. The penthouse must be the best hotel room I have ever stayed in: plenty of room, full kitchen with big fridge, awesome views to the great city of Wellington from the spacious balcony, comfy bed, etc. 🛌🌃 Second, Sheila really saved us when she found a way to get our rental car parked at the hotel yard during our 10 day trip to the south island when Wellington airport park was full. Third, she helped me with my trouser sewing job by offering sewing thread and needle, and she had all the colors too! Her philosophy is to treat her guests the same way as she would hope others would treat her children when they are travelling. Whoever is reading this review and considering hotel options for Wellington, look no further and book it☝🏻. Thank you, Sheila, for hosting and taking such good care of us 🤗🥰🙂❤️!

A well placed motel just off the main street. The room itself was good, and the bathroom modern, but the mattress and windows let in down. Mattress was very soft and not very comfortable, but the main issue was the windows that struggled against the wind. It was really blowing and we had a corner room, with the wind banging the closed windows all night from both sides. We only stayed a night so it was acceptable and perhaps it was just a specifically windy night? The owner was lovely on reception and even opened early for us the following morning to allow us to use the lift to the bottom level with our luggage as we were leaving early. There were paid for washing machines/dryers if needed. Parking was secure around the back which was a bonus. For the price is was reasonable, but unfortunately a poor nights sleep.

Excellent place to stay and great price and location. The room was more modern than we expected. Newish carpet. The double beds were so comfortable which was a huge bonus for 2x people with sore bodies. The kitchen was great and bathroom really nice. Location was great with plenty of eateries within walking distance. No noise from the streets. The flood lights were too bright at night, they shone through around the curtains. This would have been our only issue. The staff were friendly. Accommodation was clean. Having the added carpark with the booking was one of the selling points for us. We are so glad that we decided to stay here. If we're ever lucky to be able to attend WOW again, this will definitely be our choice of accommodation.
