Spacious rooms, on-site dining, and parking near Wellington ferry terminals
Nice place to stay if you wanna go around in wellington city or catch the ferry, as there is a bus stop just outside the motel and there is a bus(No.52) every 30 min going in the city. They got nice showers enough hot water, good kitchen area and also laundry. Staff is also helpful and friendly.
Great location, surprisingly peaceful for a property located beside a motorway and only a 10 minute drive from the CBD. Friendly staff and clean, reasonably priced warm rooms with spotless linen, ample hot water and good internet, The only reason I haven't rated the rooms more highly is that the one we had was overdue for an upgrade.
We had a great stay at Capital Lodge Motor Inn. The facilities were excellent and the location was perfect after arriving late from the ferry. A special thank you to the staff, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and flexible after I had an accident during our trip. They even allowed us to stay well past check-out time, which we really appreciated. Their support and kindness made a difficult situation much easier for us. Highly recommended!
A very convenient, quaint and useful little motel. Overall a nice stay, with a pleasant view. The restaurant was a particular benefit, making it so travel for food wasn't even necessary! Internet was a little patchy, but that's just me nitpicking. Overall, a good time and a good spot
If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with lots of parking, close to the ferries then look no further. We have stayed here twice, first time for just one night, second time for three nights which turned into five. They were very accommodating as we had a ute and boat, plus a car. Which were parked at no additional cost. There was heaps of room out the back for the Ute and boat parked with the trucks and caravans. Be sure to let them know in advance if you require additional parking as it gets pretty full at times. The car was able to be parked right in front of our room. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and comfortable. It is a little noisy being right next to the motorway but not a big issue at all. They were also very accommodating letting us come back a couple of hours after checking out from our three night stay, and let us go back into the same room, because our car broke down at the ferry terminal and we needed to stay an additional two nights to get the car fixed and the ferry rescheduled. We didn’t try the restaurant as had seen from other reviews it was a bit hit and miss but there are plenty of food places a few minutes down the road in Johnsonville. Will definitely be back in the future. Thanks again for being so accomodating.
