An intimate tavern with Beaujolais wines and craft spirits
Lovely bar, good wine by the glass, excellent service, all cancelled by the loud music that makes it hard to hear your conversation. The wait staff apologised but said they couldn't turn it down because it's a DJ and the owner wants it loud. Their bar, their choice. We left.
This place was awesome. It a bar, so nibble plates of cheese and meats. We went later in the evening so missed the after work rush. Beautiful cocktails, in this hole in a wall bar. So many new and exciting wines and cocktails. We loved it so much we went back the next day. Reminded me of a Victorian parlour. I'm in love with "Root Awakening"!

Busy hide away bar all of the drinks were Very well balanced, the staff were amazing and extremely attentive and accomodating could not have asked for better service!! 10/10
The best time I’ve had in Wellington! Every detail was spot on, from the warm, welcoming service to these incredible mini cocktails, not to mention the best Vodka Martini I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to Cal, Brad, and the entire team for making it such an unforgettable experience. Cheers, guys !
