Waiwaste Food Rescue

Waiwaste Food Rescue is an organization in Masterton that rescues food that is good enough to eat but not good enough to sell. Our team collects perfectly good surplus food from supermarkets, growers, cafes, bakeries, and producers in the Wairarapa, redistributing it to local community organizations who feed people. We also serve as the New Zealand Food Network Hub for the Wairarapa, receiving bulk rescued goods from their logistics centres. We operate seven days a week, collecting and delivering donated food throughout the region.
