Wairarapa Teen Parent Unit is an educational institution in Masterton enabling teen parents or expectant mothers 19 years or younger to continue their education. Established in February 2002, our unit is based on the grounds of Makoura College Masterton and has a roll of 30 students.
We open from 9am to 3pm daily during school terms, with Mākoura Early Learning Centre located in our building for childcare. We provide transport for our students and their children.
Our team supports students in completing their educational goals through individual education plans and teaching essential life skills.
