The Masterton Pet Shop is absolutely incredible! The staff are fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable about their shop and what they’re selling. The staff members have such a good vibe that you can feel as soon as you walk in the door. The shop itself is always clean and tidy and the animals enclosures are always spotless and have everything that specific animal needs to be happy and healthy. You can really tell that they deeply care about their animals and treat them as if they’re their own. I don’t own a dog but I’ve heard from friends that their groomers are exceptional and are always willing to help out if they can. Their cattery looks warm and enjoyable for cats (also very clean and tidy). They have a great selection of fish and birds, as well as often having guinea pigs, rabbits and rats. They also have lizards to look at too! They don’t always have puppies and kittens but when they do it’s never over crowded with many litters which i believe says a lot about their morals and character. Overall it is a great place to visit or purchase from! I couldn’t recommend more

Just the best experience ever ..I'm an older person and I have been very unwell.My 15year old poodle needed grooming desperately..I could only afford to get his nails done ..I said I'd wait outside while the receptive young groomer helped.my dear wee fellow ..The owner of the manager came outside and said that he really had to be groomed NOW..I "could pay bit later"...he won't look pretty " But do you no what? he came out looking very handsome again..I kept him warm and gave him several smaller meals for a few days and his swollen feet healed and he is fully recovered and very comfortable .We are both feeling soo much happier 😌 for this incredible experience 💓 A huge thank you to Masterton Pet Shop:. There are definitely decent people in this world . this business DESERVES TO DO WELL REGARDLESS OF HARDER TIMES for many of us

Car park needs serious pot hole repairs. Great prices on pet foods although I personally find it hard to get my bulk fish & turtle foods as they never seem to have enough stock. I live rurally so can't just pop in. Clean store & wonderful staff

The girl's that work there are great, they have a great sense of humor and know what they are talking about. If you are in doubt about something for your pets or any animal that you just ask them, if they can't help they do their best to find out what you need to know. Their salt water fish tank is great to see so come on in and have a look. Their prices are reasonable. Judy
