This workshop, established by Stan Waugh, has been part of Martinbough for over 70 years, serving the town and the region's mechanical engineering needs continuously. The early days saw the manufacturer of farm machinery like the forage harvester and a variety of saw mills which were installed throughout New Zealand, as well as being exported as far as the highlands of Papua New Guinea. Providing the needs of local dairy and cattle farmers remsins a highly valued service. Today, Rob also provides essential repairs and machinery modifications, etc. to the wine industry. This business is a key part of Martinbough's future, as it was throughout its growth fir many years.
