We stopped in for a quick wine tasting and ended up staying for lunch. Staff and food were amazing !!! It was a cold, wet winters day so nice to have the fire roaring to keep us warm. Everything we ate was excellent !! Pumpkin soup, scallops to start followed by Beef short rib and roast Pork. Desert of chocolate pudding and Cheesecake. Absolutely outstanding - drop in and you won’t be disappointed!!
What a lovely and special place! We loved being welcomed at the door with a delicious drink. The service was great, and food was very yummy. The bread and butter pudding is definitely the best in the world! Would highly recommend. Thanks team!
Had a wonderful dinner here in May to celebrate an engagement. The service was top notch, all the servers knew their stuff and were incredibly accomodating. We all loved our food and the dining room was very cozy but formal. Would definitely go again when in Martinborough! The complimentary pick up is also an incredible feature (especially if you’ve been to a few wineries throughout the day)
We had dinner at Tirohana Estate last night and it was absolutely faultless from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the recognition and warm welcome set the tone for what turned out to be a truly special evening. Our waiter was exceptional - attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, and clearly proud of the experience they deliver. The food was to die for. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. The pricing felt very reasonable for the quality, which made the whole experience even better. I have to give a special mention to the pork belly - it has officially become my new favourite thing. The crackling was perfection. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and the special touch they added made the night feel personal and memorable. It’s rare to find a place that gets every detail right, but Tirohana Estate truly did. We left feeling happy, full, and already excited to come back. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a beautiful dining experience in the Wairarapa.
An Absolute Masterclass in Hospitality! We had the most incredible dinner at Tirohana Estate tonight. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. A huge thank you to the staff, who were absolutely charming—their descriptions of the menu were so passionate and vivid that we were excited for every single course before it even hit the table! The food was divine, the wine was exceptional, and the service was the best we've had in a long time. If you want a night to remember with friends, this is the place to be.
