Family-owned vineyard with cellar door, kitchen, and vineyard villas
We had a lovely wine tasting hosted by Kate. She was very hospitable friendly and made the experience sensational. We tasted five of their amazing wines and took home a bottle of their Gruner Veltniner. We would absolutely recommend this place and we are definitely coming back later in the year
Terrible place. Rude woman at the counter, seems like she was drunk too: we’ve ordered a set for tasting and she started making weird and sarcastic comments about us being in the wrong place, as if we should have taken different table. The wine taste was overly sweet for his type and the temperature was unacceptable. No proper service and quality. Never come back here again, and don’t recommend this place. They should return money spent for ruined afternoon there.
I love this rustic tasting room. Pure Martinborough. Such great wine and now gin, yay. The staff really knows their stuff. And it's family run not out of town billionaires I really like that. We also had a great homemade meal at Margrain kitchen. Thanks team for showing us around your wines :)
We have always been huge fans of Margrain, particularly their wine, Rose and Chardonnay. We are also impressed with their platters, which I have only just discovered. I personally think awesome value and delicious. Thanks Margrain 🥰
Such a cute winery. We did the wine tasting and their wines were all delicious. Next time we visit, we'll come try the restaurant as well. Quite happy, we bought few bottles to bring back to Canada
